Care instructions
With proper care, your Isolde jewellery will last longer. Care varies slightly depending on the material – below you will find advice for our two main materials.
Hypoallergenic brass alloy
Our brass alloy is designed to be gentle on the skin. Brass is a living metal that can darken slightly over time (patina) – this is completely natural and does not affect the quality of the jewellery.
- Keep the jewellery dry. Take it off before showering, bathing, exercising or sleeping.
- Avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, soap, lotion and cleaning products – put on your jewellery last when getting ready.
- Wipe the jewellery with a soft, dry cloth after use.
- Want to restore its shine? Gently polish with a soft jewellery polishing cloth. Avoid abrasive agents.
- Store in a dry and preferably airtight place, for example in a small bag, to slow down oxidation.
Stainless steel
Stainless steel is a durable and easy-to-care-for material that retains its lustre over time. It is also gentle on the skin.
- Wipe the jewellery with a soft cloth when needed.
- If necessary, you can clean it with lukewarm water and a mild soap – then dry thoroughly.
- Avoid chlorinated and salt water, as well as strong chemicals.
- Store the jewellery separately so that they do not scratch each other.
Applies to all jewellery
Store your jewellery in a dry and cool place, preferably separately in a cloth bag or jewellery box, and put the jewellery back in its packaging between uses.
